You certainly have questions. If you do not find the answer you are looking for below, please do not hesitate to call us at (208) 649-4788 or email us.

What exactly do you do?

Facilitating a strategic planning meeting involves more than just pointing to someone who is raising their hand. A good facilitator recognizes the mood of the room, sees the hesitant hands, draws out the ideas that would otherwise remain on the tongue or in the mind. Besides running a smooth and punctual meeting, we develop and direct activities that are most likely to solicit practical and insightful participation. Executive Directors and Board Members should not be facilitating meetings. Their responsibility is to contribute and share.

How long does strategic planning take?

New nonprofits or those who have not gone through strategic planning in years will likely need at least 8 hours of sessions (either one 8-hour session or two 4-hour sessions).

I’ve heard facilitators are expensive. How much do you charge?

What is success worth to you? You likely have much that you want to get out of the planning process, but if you or another valuable stakeholder gets stuck running the meeting, your attention will be elsewhere. Our fees may be as little as $600 for 4 hours of basic facilitation or as much as $6,000 for 2- or 3-day sessions and their corresponding pre-session surveys, organizational and industry analyses and post-session reports. Consulting services are available on an hourly basis or by project. Hourly services can range from $150 to $195. Click here for our fee schedule.
